Tell God what you think about what Jesus has done. That is called praying. There are no special words. Just say what is on your heart. Read your Bible every day. If you do not have a Bible, we recommend getting either the New Living Translation (NLT) or the New International Version (NIV). There are many other good translations**, but these are two of the easier Bibles to read. Many people have a King James Version (KJV). The KJV can be purchased for as little as $1.00. The King James Version is a very accurate, beautiful translation, but the old style English is difficult to read and understand. When first starting to read the Bible we recommend either an NLT or NIV bible, and waiting to read the KJV until you are more experienced. From the NIV - Romans 8:1 Find a good church. To start there are some churches which are easily eliminated, such as: LDS (Mormons), Jehovah's Witnesess, Unitarian (any universal type church), and Christian Scientists. None of these are Christian. Why not? Because none believe in the Biblical Jesus Christ, but instead they have all created their own Jesus Christ. How do you recognize a good church?
